Hello everyone; Our morning started out with Bluefin under the boat, and we manage to put a few on the boat. Most of the fish were in the 40 to 50 pound range, with a couple going over 60.

It was a slow pick, and the best thing going was the Shimano flat fall. We did get a few on the sinker rig ( 4 to 6 oz) with a live Mackerel or Sardine.

Around 0900 hours, Roy made a move the would produce the majority of our fish. Once we arrived to our destination, the anchor was pushed over the side, and we got busy. We had a good showing of Yellowtail in the 15 to 30 pound range, with most of the fish 18 to 22 pounds.

We would make one more move, and would catch a handful of Yellows at the next stop, and they were a bit smaller, with most in the 12 to 15 pound category, with one stand out fish, around 30 pounds.

We are anchored up for the night, and some of our passengers are trying their night time luck. Since I’ve started doing the report, we have not hooked a fish yet. So wish us luck and we will keep you up dated on our current conditions.
