http://2838 Garrison StreetWe made it down to the wahoo area about 0700. A couple miles short we shut the boat down, drifted and everyone came to the back deck. There were a few words said for our late friend George them and all the passengers took a shot in remembrance of him; one was given to the sea for George.
It was now time to fish and it didn’t take long to find some biters. Every jig strike resulted in 2-8 of these beautiful speedsters. They are bombs, jigs and especially the live bait wire leaders. The sharks took a few and we had the typical wahoo casualties but the group did an excellent job at landing a high percentage of these tough fish. Make sure if you are in upcoming trips to new wire on your bombs and jigs! We recommend 90# stranded or 86# single strand. Single strand wire leaders in 27, 44, and 58# single strand. The titanium wire also works great and the Trokar TK-7 is the hook for the live bait rigs(1/0-2/0). We are going to go looking tomorrow around Mag Bay before working our way up. Wish us luck!

Hey folks- The wind came up overnight a little to about 15 knts of wind. Just enough to make it a little rolly. We had one stop on wahoo and a couple long one at a time drifts on nice grade tuna. We decided to head south in hopes of some steadier wahoo action. We will be at the wahoo grounds at 0700. Wish us luck and lots of biting ‘hoos. ......

An hour later and after a court more stops on wahoo, the tuna started to show and bite. About 2 the bite died so we took a pass outside for kelps but found some only holding small tuna and skipjack. We came back inside......
