http://norcal.fishreports.comThe East is running at around 20 cfs still, there hasn't been a lot of traffic down there lately and it seems like the fishing is a little hit and miss. We've had some good reports from the mile section as well as down below the bridge but we've also had some pretty poor reports as well. There has been a few anglers having some success with lures like Rapalas and Panther Martins. Fly anglers have been doing the best with small midge patterns and some streamers, flashback emergers, micro mayflies, san juan worm, zebra midge, wd-40, jj special, zuddler and wooly buggers have been producing some fish. The water is of course very low so try to be sneaky when approaching and focus on the deeper pools and runs where the fish will be likely to be hanging out. Tomorrow is the beginning of the "Winter Season" for the EW so the regulations are the same except that there will be a zero limit for the winter, catch and release only. On the West Walker, the section from the bridge on Hwy 395 downstream to Topaz Lake will remain open through the winter for catch and release fishing with artificial flies and lures with barbless hooks. This means there's still some opportunity to get into some cold weather fishing on that section. www.kenssport.com (760) 932-7707
