East Wlaker flows 22 cfs

The East Walker is still a good bet but flows are very low and cold. Like most of our fisheries at this time of the year dead drifting small midge pupa and nymph imitations is the key to happiness. You need to cover a lot of water until you find areas where fish are concentrated. Once you do find the fish you'll do best using a very careful approach and light 6X or 7X tippets. You can catch fish on streamers but low water conditions definitely make that a bit more challenging! ??BEST FLIES FOR THE EAST WALKER RIVER: Zebra Midges 18-22, Mitey Mite Baetis 18-20, San Juan Worms 16, Two Tone Hunchback Nymphs 18-20, WD 40's 18-20, Stanley Streamer Brown/Chub 6, Bullethead Streamers Gold 6, and Brassies 18-22
