Hello everyone; Well this will be my last report of the year, but the boat will be departing on it annual Izorline trip today. To sum up this trip, I would say weather had a lot to do with it. We had excellent Wahoo fishing at Alijos rocks for two days, then we departed and headed south to Hurricane bank. But mother-nature said this was a no-go or us. Only miles from the bank, and mother-nature said you can’t fish here today. So Jonathan made the decision to head for Clarion. We had winds up to 40 knots, and it was hard to make that move. But thinking “safety first”, we headed to Clarion island buffer zone. Once we arrived to Clarion, the weather was a lot nicer, but that would change, with rain one day, windy on some days, and a full moon, making it hard, but not impossible to make bait. We would get a few fish over the 200 pound mark, many more over the 100 pound mark, and excellent fishing on 40 to 60 pound fish. With a hurricane coming up the line, we departed a day early, and headed back to Alijos rocks, were we would get another 50+ Wahoo for our anglers, and then finish our trip out fishing Yellowtail close to home.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
