http://www.lakechabotrecreation.comThe water level has remained steady at Chabot. The Trout bite has been picking up. They are mainly biting on bait. The trolling has not been productive. The fish are being caught at Racoon Point and Indian Cove. Our last stock was December 2nd and we should get more fish soon.

Lake Chabot just received another 1000 pounds of Rainbow Trout. So since October we have 5000 pounds. It's raining today and not many fishing. But those who are fishing are getting limits. The water is cooling off and the trout fishing should continue to be very good.......

GENERAL CONDITIONS | Bass fishing continues to keep anglers busy with a lot bass reported getting caught. Trout action is starting to heat up! Andrew Falk of Hayward caught his limit fishing near Indian Cove using nightcralwers. Catfish also picked up a little too. Sean O’ Malley of San Leandro caught a nice 10 lbs. using hotdogs fishing near the Marina. This fall we have planted around 3,000 lbs. of trout into Lake Chabot. We will continue......
