http://www.royalpolaris.comHello everyone; Well our morning started off slow, but thing got a lot better as the day went on. Our weather is a bit breezy, with a 12 to 15 knots, clear skies, and not to warm. Thank God for the wind.
Fishing wise, it was good on Yellowfin and Wahoo today, with most of the Yellowfin going over the hundred pound mark, and one over two hundred pounds. Lucky angler today was Tom Grogan, with a 221 pound Yellowfin tuna, caught on the kite. This would be Tom personnel best, but he hoping to top that again this trip.
Another personnel best today, first timer, Andy Shimoda, with a nice 180 pound Yellowfin tuna. We caught another handful of fish in the 160 to 180 pound range.
The Wahoo were in the 35 to 45 range, and a couple of larger one’s.
Not much life, but the fish are keeping us busy most of the day. We will give it another try tomorrow, so wish us luck.

Most of the day was spent setting drags, final touches on drags, and just getting everything ready. The afternoon was spent watching movies, playing cards, or just catching up on some sleep. The crew was busy making wind-on leaders. We will arrive just before......
