http://www.royalpolaris.comHello everyone; Well let’s put it like this, the weather is a bit breezy, overcast skies, and not much sunshine. But as far as fishing goes, it was an excellent day at the bank. Most of the Yellowfin were in the 120 to 140 range, with two over 200 pounds, and many others in the 170 to 190 range.
We stayed on the anchor all day, and didn’t do much trolling for Wahoo, but we did manage to pick a few on the anchor.
Lucky anglers today, Zack Mouradian, with a 216 pound Yellowfin, on the kite. Melvin Tanaka also caught a 214 pound Yellowfin tuna on the kite. Honorable mention, Gary Ahsing, with a 196 pound Yellowfin tuna, Wayne Tanimine with a 185 pound Yellowfin tuna. We had many other anglers get fish in the 150 to 180 pound range.
With the weather being a problem catching flyers at night, we are doing very good on the double trouble rig. We will give this another try tomorrow, so wish us luck, and we will keep you posted on our daily events.
