Report Date:
http://norcal.fishreports.comWinter was under way, with the northern mountains sitting well above average for water and snow, then boom a 10 day dry and above average temp pattern. This "heat wave" had snow melting and rivers and streams flowing into Lake Almanor, sending the lake level up. The flows settled and it almost felt like spring was going to break. (not good as we could still use more rain and snow) Well another storm is bringing that precipitation along with some healthy winds to us right now. This storm is expected to keep things unsettled for a couple days, then following my participation in an event in Rocklin (see below) over the weekend, its back on the water it pursuit of Trophy Trout at Lake Almanor. Spring dates are filling up, don't miss your chance to get in on some exciting fishing action.
