FLOWS: @ Boca 346 ??@Farad 353 ??@Reno ??346

Fishing on the Truckee has been getting tougher due to colder water temperatures and storm systems. Fish are being caught, mostly by anglers dead drifting small nymph and midge imitations under indicators. A few fish are coming to streamers but nymphing has definitely been the most productive method. You need to concentrate your efforts on slower water areas and pools as not many fish hang out in the faster stretches of the river at this time of the year. Try the Czech nymph method at the top end of pools to get down to where the big ones are! ??BEST FLIES FOR THE TRUCKEE: Two Tone Hunchback Nymphs 18-20, Copper Johns 16-20, Mitey MIte Baetis 18-20, Hunchback PT 16-20, Deep Sherbet Bottom Rollers 6-8, Flu Shots 4
