Little Truckee Flows ??41 cfs

Fishing on the Little Truckee is getting harder and harder. Access to the stream may become tough with predicted Winter storms. The successful anglers on the Little Truckee are using very small midge and mayfly imitations to catch the occaisional fish. Flows are very low and clear so approach is critical, you must approach the stream carefully and keep a low profile so that the fish don't see you and spook. Perfect dead drifts and light 6X or 7X tippets are the key to success. BEST FLIES FOR THE LITTLE TRUCKEE: Zebra Midges 18-22, WD-40's 20-22, Brassies 18-22, Hunchback Two Tone Nymphs 18-20, Mitey Mite Baetis 18-20, Copper Johns 18-20, Griffiths Gnat 22, and Parachute Adams 18-22
