The San Diego has been fishing the Coronado Islands the past week with good yellowtail fishing.  Yo yo fishing is the way to go, but a few are also being caught on the surface iron and live bait. The San Diego departs daily at 5:30am and a valid passport or passport card is required for all anglers regardless of age.

Half day trips aboard the New Seaforth go daily at 6am and 12:30pm.

3-20-16 12:15 UPDATE: The San Diego now has limits of yellowtail on the boat. 100 yellowtail for 20 anglers. Next trip is Monday March 20th and is a go for sure! The San Diego resumed 3/4 day trips to the Coronado Islands/Baja Coast today and caught 43 Yellowtail from 16 to 23 pounds. The "Yellows" were caught on surface and yo-yo iron. Sunday's trip is a go for sure!......
