Today we caught 44 Yellowtail. Good Wide Open Bite. We had some nice big Halibut. We had a mixed bag of fish today. And everyone went home with a nice sack of fish.

Capt John Woodrum checked in from the Pursuit to report that they had really good fishing today at Catalina Island today, the did some deep and shallow water rockfishing. After we got our fill of rockfish with some really nice Reds, we headed for the kelp line. We managed to get a few Yellowtail and had them boiled around a lot. The water is still green and cold from the wind storm, we are headed out again......
