We fished the beaches for morning and managed to get 7 short White Seabass, it looks like the water has started to settle back down and the fishing should start picking up. In the afternoon we went to a different area of the island and managed to get 43 Yellowtail with an average weight of around 8 lbs, a few were in the 20 lb range. Capt Greg checked in last night from the Pacific Quest with a report for yesterdays efforts, we targeted the White Seabass along the beach. We marked a lot of fish, but they did not want to bite today. We then targeted Yellowtail and ended the day with 29 Yellowtail up to 30 lbs, the average was probably around 18 lbs. Capt Greg checked in from the Pacific Quest with a final count for their overnight trip with 12 anglers and 4 man crew, we got limits of White Seabass for a total of 16. We also got 1 barndoor Halibut, 7 Yellowtail and 5 Calico Bass, we picked away at the Seabass for 3 or 4 hours. But we got it done, we are sold out through the weekend our next spots available are on Monday night fishing......
