The Virginias are starting to fish very well, Trumbull Lake is completely ice free and fishing great, Little Virginia is about 70% ice free and also fishing great, Big Virginia is still iced over but should be breaking up very soon. On the open water bait anglers are using power bait, mice tails and crawlers, lure anglers are using mini jigs like Sierra Slammers and Trout Teasers, Kastmasters and Thomas Bouyants and fly anglers are running matukas, simi seal leeches, seal buggers, soft hackles, pheasant tails and zug bugs.
