Bridgeport is fishing pretty well right now with lots of nice fish in the 1 to 3 pound range being caught. We've had some decent action from the shore though not as consistant as the trolling or bait fishing from boats. Shore anglers are catching some fish casting rapalas and thomas bouyants as well as s few fish on crawlers and power bait. Fly anglers are picking up a few fish stripping streamers down near the dam from kayaks or float tubes. Trollers are using small rapalas, speedy shiners and also trolling night crawlers. Boat anglers who are bait fishing are using mice tails, inflated crawlers and power bait.
