Mike Lackey docked his Vagabond November 12 after a five-day trip with 24 anglers to Guadalupe Island and Natividad. At Point Loma Sportfishing, Mike weighed the best fish from the catch.

Art Allen of Irvine won the jackpot for a 63.6-pound yellowfin tuna.

"He really worked me over," said Allen. "It took 40 minutes."

Art used a sardine on a 2/0 Super Mutu hook to nab his winner, with 25-pound Big Game line on an Avet LX 4.5 reel and a 270-8 H rod.

David Young of Big Creek won second place, for a 58-pound tuna, and Francisco Gambon of San Diego was third, for a36.8-pound yellowtail.
