We left today on an Izorline sponsored 6 day trip. After loading up on beautiful sardines at the receivers we headed offshore to see if we could fine some bft. About three hours out of port we stumbled into an incredible area of big fish. There were breezers and big foamers under bird school. We got one nice school to react to our chum and hooked four fish. Two were real jumbos and broke off after almost spooling the Angeles and we landed the other two which went about 60#. The bft are still acting finicky but this is the best sign we have seen all year. We are headed down the beach to fish for yellows tomorrow. Wish us luck and biting fish!
