It wasn't a float day today. We had some action spread out through the day though. We got about 3 a round on the elusive Bluefins and did plenty of pulling and tugging on yellow tails. The weather was once again spectacular and we're expecting some pretty good weather tomorrow as well. Not as perfect as the last couple of days but still good. We'll be doing this again tomorrow and if the bf's stay on the same schedule it should be a float day. We'll see and you'll read. See you then.

July 29 Our timing is out of wack. Or the Bluefin's timing is. Yeah, that's it. The Bluefin's timing was out of wack today. Yesterday it was completely an afternoon thing, so us arriving today at noon was going to be perfect. Unfortunately for us it was a morning thing today. When we arrived to the grounds most everyone was finishing up there drifts. We found a few kelps and had some good fishing on some descent grade yellowtail's and one of the kelps......

July 28 Well that 40 to 70 pound bluefin was found today. Not by us but it was found. We're making a 160 mile move tonight so we'll be fishing hopefully catching tomorrow afternoon. Needless to say it was a slow day for us and all the other boats who went scouting. We finally had some action late on yellowfin but it was not enough to keep us there another day. Hopefully the mysterious bluefin keeps biting for weeks/months/years to come.......
