Boaters have been catching smallmouth and largemouth bass near Callville Bay while working soft plastics in coves. Striper action also has been good. Warm water temperatures will push the fish deep during the daytime hours and will do so earlier in the day than in the recent past. Cut anchovies, live shad or shad imitations will catch the stripers. Catfish will hit anchovies too, as well as commercial stink bait. Dim moonlight will be a good chance to get out for some night fishing.
