We departed on our annual Jim's Custom Rods 8 day this morning, picked up an excellent load of bait from the Bait Bro's and cleared the point at noon. This evening our Chartermaster Jim Ptacnik held a really nice raffle with a couple of custom rods and lots of great swag for everyone. A special moment when Sammy received a personal gift of an antique Sextant for his achievements in becoming a Captain and an outstanding crewman from a great friend and passenger.. We are headed south to start our trip and will report on the action in a day or so. Wish us Luck
