The warmer temperatures have had an impact on fishing opportunity. Largemouth bass have been hitting on imitation crawdads, worms and grubs in darker colors. Tube baits in green or root beer color, small jigs and night crawler pieces have brought in the crappie. While the action may continue a little later into the morning, it slows significantly into the afternoon until the heat subsides and shadows return to the water.
