Not many venturing outside the gate to target salmon or rockfish due to rough seas due to 20 to 25 knot winds making for bumpy conditions. Those venturing are averaging about 1 salmon per rod in close off Stinson Beach, Rocky Point and Duxbury. Presently, the best salmon fishing taking place in Bodega Bay and further up the coast near Eureka. The inland salmon fishing begins Saturday, July 16 including the Sacramento River.
