The yellowtail bite is on at the islands

Captain Ryan Bostian aboard the San Diego has called in a final count 123 yellowtail, 78 bonito and 10 barracuda. Captain Bostian relayed,"They are biting the fly lined baits and the yo yo jigs the best today." The San Diego departs daily for the Coronado Islands at 5:30am and requires a valid passport to board.

The Apollo has called in from a two  day trip with 1 bluefin tuna(130lbs), a dorado and 92 yellowfin tuna(12-15lbs).

The New Seaforth has been catching yellowtail, bonito and a few bass on the morning half day trips and the afternoon trips have been great calico bass fishing along with a chance to catch a yellowtail.

The New Seaforth finished their morning half day trip on Wednesday with 33 Yellowtail, 9 Bonito, and 14 Calico Bass for their 28 anglers.  Make your reservations now as spots will fill up fast! The San Diego has had excellent Yellowtail fishing at the Coronado Islands the past week. Tuesdays 3/4 day trip finished with 97 Yellowtail (15-25lbs) for 32 anglers!  Fly-lined baits and surface irons have been working very well.  This trip requires a valid passport or passport card!......
