GENERAL CONDITIONS

The weather has been in the upper 70’s and 90’s with the water temperature reaching about 78 degrees. The water is crystal clear.

Please note boaters must be 100 feet away from the swim ropes, fish tube and the docks.

We encourage all anglers to please stop by our kiosk on the way out to report catches, stories, comments, and/or concerns.

CATFISH

The catfish bite is picking up. The best bait to use has been mackerel, chicken livers, anchovies and sardines.

TROUT

The water temperature is still warm, so the trout have been staying in the deeper water. Anglers are having some success early in the morning using on rapalas, night crawlers, Kastmasters, and chartreuse Power Bait.

BASS

Bass are biting on swimbaits, but remember to release your bass back into the lake to keep the population up.

CATCHES REPORTED

Chuck Revelle caught and released 5 bass float tubing in the Arroyo, and he was using swim baits and senko’s for bait.

Robert Avell of Pleasanton caught and released 3 bass fishing in the front lake, and he was using senko’s for bait.

Jon Christenson caught and released 10 bass fishing in the Arroyo, and he was using senko’s.

Gabriel Rezendez caught and released 6 bass float tubing in the Arroyo.

Tim Areas caught 10 bluegill fishing by the bridge.
