https://www.seaforthlanding.comUPDATE 3:30pm - Capt. Jonathan on the Endeavor called in a final count of 21 Bluefin Tuna (19 of them in the 80-100lb class and 2 at 15lbs), and 1 Yellowfin Tuna approximately 60lbs.
3:00pm - The San Diego has called in with 6 Bluefin Tuna (70-110lbs) so far for their three quarter day trip. Captain Ryan said they have lost quite a few fish and he is recommending 50# and 60# line to land these big fish! There is still plenty of space tomorrow aboard the San Diego, so make your reservations now!
2:00pm - The Apollo just called in and informed us they have just put a Bluefin on the boat over 200lbs!
The majority of the fish today were caught on Shimano Flat Fall Jigs. Rigging the Flat Falls with a short fluorocarbon leader (100#) will greatly increase your chances of landing one of these brutes if they inhale your jig. Don't forget your two-speed reels, 3/0 - 4/0 circle hooks and 4oz torpedo sinkers!
