http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=537The water temp is 54 degrees. On March 5th and 6th we got two plants of Rainbow Trout totaling 2,550 pounds. The Trout fishing is very good and the average size fish is 6 pounds. This week the lake was clearing up. Trout anglers found an improved bite with J7 Rapalas and Kastermasters trolling the Narrows. The bite was on using powerbait and night crawlers. We saw a few largemouth bass so they are starting to move up, another week of warm weather and the bass should be great. Don't forget Catfish and Stripers. They are starting to bite too. If you are looking for a fun day of fishing we have it all!

The last fish plant was on 2-19-2008 and we got 1000 pounds of trout. The water temperature is 49 degrees.The fishing has been just about like the weather, a little bit of everything. Over last weekend the trout bite was great with some really nice catches. From a boat trolling the narrows and the bays with lures. The weather has been GREAT and the lake has been clearing more and more each day. This adds up to some great fishing. The Trout bite has been slow but we have seen lots of limits and some big ones coming in. It seems the best place to wet your line is through the narrows at the Dam.
