Fall Chinook fishing is good on the Nestucca. Halloween rains bumped the river up about a foot and slowed fishing down, but prior to the storm it had been fishing really well. The river has crested and is on the drop so we expect fishing to continue to be good the majority of the week. All of the usual techniques, such as bobber fishing, divers and bait, and back bouncing should be effective. Remember that 1st Bridge near Beaver is the upstream deadline for fall Chinook angling.
