Wahoo action picks up

Report Date:

Hi folks;
Our weather has finally changed to 10 to 15 knots of breeze with lots of overcast.

It was another scratchy day of fishing however today we found a nice school of Wahoo at the south end of the bank, that were quite cooperative. We picked up 31 Wahoo that were in the 40 to 50 pound class that put smiles on most passengers faces. The Yellowfin tuna fishing continues to be tough. Jack Neilsen caught a 210 pound Yellowfin early in the morning and Shawna Barton followed with a 140 pound Yellowfin tuna. We had four Yellowfin over the century mark, and 5 fish 50 to 80 pounds.

We still see plenty of fish around that will not bite so we will be patient and hope things soon change. Please wish us luck. The R/p crew.
