TROUT

The trout bite was great this weekend! Anglers were catching their limit of trout from Hermit Cove and Siesta Cove all weekend long! Mini jigs and Rainbow PowerBait were doing the trick! In addition to the 1,500 lbs. of trout stocked from Wrights Rainbows, we also received 300 lbs. from DFW. Be sure to catch the trout bite at dusk this Saturday at Full Moon Fishing where we stay open until 10 p.m.!

Our next stocking is the week of Dec. 19th which will be the start of 4 consecutive weeks of stockings! Each week will be 1,500 lbs.! Get ready!

CATFISH

Anglers fishing from the T-dock reeled in some 3-5 lbs. catfish using night crawlers and chicken liver.

PANFISH

Bluegill were being caught from Hermit Cove this weekend on inflated night crawlers.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Our next event is Full Moon Fishing this Saturday, December 17th! The lake will remain open until 10 p.m. for fishing under the stars. A full sized-lantern is required after 5 p.m.

The lake will be open every day from December 23rd-January 8th for Winter Break (excludes Christmas Day)! Come fish, boat, or hike anytime from 6:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.

Fishing is available from the campground shoreline on Christmas Day beginning at 7:30 a.m.—5:00 p.m.
