We did have a visit from Santa in our area. This is truly magic as I watched Santa and his elves helping with the visitors coming to see him.With a couple of future anglers on his sleigh I watched as ST Nick himself listened to their wishes. His elves were handing out gifts to help remind all to be good as we get closer to that magic night.

I am getting reports but no anglers stopping is. Our weather and holidays and weather have been keeping most off the water.

Lake Mohave - One angler was able to get on Lake Mohave and had a blast the large mouth bass were in the shallows while the smallies were attacking plastics along the shelves. the striper bite was ok at the openings of various coves. but again it’s a bit slow for us due to the wind and cold. not much word from anywhere on the river.

Topock Marsh - its time for hunting. ducks geese your water fowl are in this area and I have been hearing it’s a good year.

Colorado River - I also am showing an older picture of Me and my son albert Braun with the fish he landed while fishing the river. this may have been a while back but this time of year well Lure fishing does produce some nice stripers. Try and bring a couple in when you can the Rainbow trout stocking is coming up. I hope to see some anglers in to share the story and show off their catch. It’s a good practice to catch and release as these are to help with the caddis fly issue. just be careful if you are to release them. the slim on the fish helps protect it and if the hook or spinner is down deep you will have to cut the line they will be ok as long as you see no blood.
