Report Date:
http://www.mountainhardwareandsports.comBite has been off and on just like the weather. Fly flingers doing best chugging sheep creek specials, leeches, buggers, and darker colored wiggle tails first thing in the shallows in about 6-8 feet of water. Later morning and into the afternoon go deeper, about 10-15 feet, and again strip buggers and leech patterns in darker colors. Indicator fishing has been slow though as the fish are more in tune with the strip. Temps here are at 50-53 degrees and the quality of fish here has been good but the quantity has been way down. Lake capacity sits at 57%. For a more current fly fishing updates on this lake refer to Jon Baiocchi’s web page at http://www.baiocchistroutfitters.com/.
