Report Date:
http://www.kenssport.comThe East is still running at around 28 cfs right now. Again, not too many reports this past week though we were able to talk to a couple guys who did pretty good on the California side, from the Big Hole down to the bridge. Small nymphs were the ticket, no streamer or dry action. They reported a couple cutthroat as well as some browns and bows. The biggest fish they landed was about a 20 inch cutt while the browns and bows were mostly in the 12 to 18 inch range. The last couple days the weather has gotten a lot colder so it’s tough to tell how that will affect the fishing. Patterns to try down there include: flashback emerger, wd-40, top secret midge, micro mayfly and zebra midge.
