2017 has started off strong for trout. We had a lot of anglers catch their limit and trophy sized trout are still being caught. Jay Ayon (pictured top right) came all the way from Las Vegas to catch this monster 8 lbs. trout out of Lake 4. His bait of choice was Powerbait. Max Hagadone (pictured top left) had a great day fishing. He caught this stinger full of trout on rainbow Powerbait. His biggest trout weighed 3lbs. 4oz. Kaycee Spencer (pictured bottom left) caught this cannel cat out of Lake 6 while camping. She caught it on a night crawler. This weekend is our trout Reopener! Come out for a chance to catch trophy sized trout and win prizes!

Most anglers have been sticking with either chartreuse or rainbow Powerbait. There haven't been a lot of reports of anyone using much else.
