Hello everyone;

We arrived to our destination at 06:00 hours, and started looking around. It didn’t take Roy long, before dropping the anchor. The morning started out a bit slow, but as the day went on, things started to heat up. The 10 to 15 knots breeze was welcome, keeping everyone comfortable, while waiting for a bite. The Yellowfin bite was steady, with most of the fish in the 150 to 190 pound range, with one fish going over 200 pounds.

Lucky angler today, Jim Springer with a 204 pound Yellowfin tuna. Jim was the daily Jackpot winner. Other notable anglers today, Joe Amagrande, with two fish in the 180 pound category. Jim Tallerico with a 140 pound fish, caught on 40 pound test wire, while fishing for Wahoo. Bert Carlson with a nice 187 pound Yellowfin tuna, and to top off our list, Jimmy Shoaf with two Yellowfin in the 170 pound range.

We will try to make a tank of flying fish tonight, then give it the old collage try again tomorrow. So wish us luck.

Team R/p.

Hello everyone; We departed Fisherman’s landing, on the annual Jerry Brown open. With 18 passengers and 18 days, and a beautiful load sardines, we are on our way. Mother Nature was not in a good mood today, with rain, wind, and a very confused ocean. It was a bit tough for 5 hours. By dinner time the weather is a lot better. No reports from the boats down south yet. We will keep you updated on our......
