http://www.santeelakes.com/fishingreport.htmWe didn’t see as many monster trout get caught this week, but we still had plenty of fish caught. Alyson Baro (top left) caught this 3lbs. 9oz. trout on Green Powerbait out of Lake 4. Mike Kirkham (top right) also caught a 3lbs. 9oz. trout on Powerbait. His trout came out of Lake 3. James Zewiecui (bottom left) caught this 3lbs. 2oz. trout on night crawlers. Reynaldo Gonzalez Jr. (bottom right) caught this 3lbs. 12oz. trout on Rainbow Powerbait out of Lake 3. Now that the temperature is starting to rise, the bass are going to start biting more. We now offer a Teen Bass Pass for young anglers. Contact the park office for more information!
Lake Lowdown
Avg. Water Temp:59.2°F
Water Clarity: Average 3 ft. visibility
If it’s not broken, why fix it? Green and Chartreuse Powerbait are still doing great and anglers who are sticking to these basics are pulling out good numbers of trout. While we’re still a little ways off from a good spawning temperature, don't be surprised to see some of the Largemouth bass becoming more active.
