We arrived back to port this morning from our Catchy Tackle 16-day trip. Fishing this trip was not a slam dunk but we had opportunities everyday. The weather was just about perfect the entire trip and the group was a joy to fish with. A huge thanks to Wayne Martin, John Grindley, and Mike Lovelle for hosting the trip and for the generous giveaways from Catchy Tackle and Five Star Fish Prosessing. Our jackpot winners for the trip are as follows: third place went to Steve Kiesel with a 183.0 pound yellowfin tuna, second place went to Pete Wight with a 193.6 pound yellowfin tuna, and first place went to Jennifer Ramey with a 216.0 pound yellowfin tuna. Strong work! Thank you to everyone that fished with us on this trip. We are in for a couple of months for our annual scheduled maintenance. Hi Everyone, Another day of beautiful weather traveling North. We did see something of interest today. Spots of bonito associated with shearwaters. They were on anchovy. We were 100 miles off the coast. Check in tomorrow, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team...ETA 0530 Tuesday ......
