Trout are biting by the buoy line in Hermit Cove off of PowerBait and night crawlers. The lake will be stocked for 3 consecutive weeks beginning with 1,500 lbs. this week!
BASS
Anglers vying for bass are using plastic worms or swimbaits. Morning Dawn colored Roboworm is working best. The shoreline across from the boat dock and at the campground are the top producing locations.
CATFISH
Multiple catfish were caught in Cloister Cove this weekend. Anglers were catching them on night crawlers.

CATCHES OF THE WEEK
Roger Backstreet of El Cajon reeled in trout from Hermit Cove on rainbow PowerBait. The total weight was 8 lbs. Larry Laumann caught and released multiple bass from the campground shoreline on Saturday. He was using plastic worms as bait. Ryder Lynn went fishing with his grandpa and brother, both boys caught catfish off of night crawlers.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
This year’s Spring Carnival will be on Saturday, April 8th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m! The festivities will include a reappearance of the Kid’s Pond for children under 10, free paddle boating for the whole family, and an egg hunt. 1,700 lbs. of trout will be stocked for this event. The lake will be open everyday for Spring Break from April 7th - 23rd
