Trout fishing in streams is closed until May 22.

Most anglers have stopped fishing for steelhead in the Coquille Basin. Rivers in the Coquille basin are open to steelhead fishing until April 30. In the Coquille basin, one additional hatchery steelhead may be retained per day for a total aggregate of three adult fish harvested daily.

Recreational crabbing is open in the Coquille estuary but crabbing is very slow due to the large amounts of freshwater coming downstream.
