Hi RP Family;

We had a fun day of wahoo and tuna fishing today. Unfortunately, the sharks got to all the big ones and we were only able to get the 50-90lbers onto the boat. We had fun despite the sharks as the crew joined Jonathon in their multicolored spandex body suits and worked the deck like Power Rangers. It was one of the funnier things up until they tried to gaff my wahoo. Let’s just say their vision in those suits is slightly impaired and their targeting is far from accurate (it would have been much funnier on someone else’s fish). In any case, I hope you enjoy the photos.

We also paid tribute to Sue and renamed a famous fishing location as Sue’s Thumb Bank (you will need to come on a long range trip to find the location). During dinner, we had the green sweatshirt ceremony that she missed last year and honored her at dinner for catching the largest fish last year. We all gave her a nice round of applause and the chef’s supplemented her dinner with fingerling potatoes. Let’s all give Sue a big thumbs up for her accomplishment.

No one earned a hello, but we will give two of my favorite anglers the microphone. Gary Cotter sends his love to Marianne and the boys. Jeff “Jeffy” Shapiro would like to say hello to his lovely nieces, Nicolette, Morgan & Riley. They both expect/hope to catch big enough fish to earn the above.
