and continues to make for some very long and uneventful fishing days
for the anglers and the crews.
While most of the boats are having a shot at a dorado or two for
dinner, the billfish bite is down to about 1 for every 4th boat.
Overall counts for 23 offshore fishing days
reflected 3 stripers, 3 sailfish, 19 dorado and 1 giant squid. The
super pangas, reporting for 5 fishing days, reflected 13 vaquetas, 8
pargo 7 corvina, 7 ttoro and 6 lenguas.
Mazatlan Climate: Mostly sunny and warm, temps from 55 nights to 88
daytime highs, near perfect.
Sea Conditions: Calm with slight swell and light tropical breezes,
temps from 73 inshore to 74 offshore.
Best Fishing Area: None reported
Best Lure/Bait: Rigged baits caught the billfish and most of the
dorado.
