Anglers were catching catfish all over the lakes this week. Puko Phauiseth caught this 2 lb. 8 oz. catfish. He caught it out of Lake 4 on mackerel.
The west side of Lakes 2 and 3 will be closed for construction. It is scheduled to be complete in about 3 months.
Night Fishing is about to get started! The first one will be held on June 15th. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the month of May, fishing permits will be half price. Parking passes will also be discounted. These will cost $1.00 if you are paying with cash and $2.00 if you are paying with a debit or credit card. extra pole stamps will remain their normal price.

I’m getting more and more reports of bass biting on top water baits. I expect this the keep getting better as we go into summer. Catfish continue to bite well on mackerel and shrimp.
