Fishing Schedule For This Week/Weekend

Hey Everyone!

Here's our updated weekend and overnight schedule. On the fishing front white sea bass and yellowtail have been showing/biting at both San Clemente Island and Catalina Island. Water temps have increased about 4 degrees both at the islands and along the coast.

Overnight and longer trips:

The Amigo is running overnight trips for:

Fishing Friday May 9 (departing Thursday night May 8 at 10 pm). Limited to 16 anglers at $170 a person. This is a White Sea Bass and yellowtail trip. Capt Greg Obymako will be running this trip.

Fishing Saturday May 10 (departing Friday night May 9th at 10 pm). Limited to 18 anglers at $170 a person. This is a White Sea Bass and Yellowtail trip. Capt Greg Obymako will be running this trip.

Fishing Sunday May 11 (departing Saturday night May 10th at 10 pm). Limited to 18 anglers at $170. This is a white sea bass and yellowtail trip. Capt Greg Obymako will be running this trip.

Fishing Monday May 12 (departing Sunday night May 11th at 10 pm). Limited to 16 anglers at $170. This is a white sea bass and yellowtail trip. Capt Greg Obymako will be running this trip.

Also we set up a Mike Thompson 2 day open party trip over Memorial Day Weekend. Leaving Saturday May 24 at 10pm to fish all day Sunday May 25 and Monday (Memorial Day) May 26 returning that evening at around 7 pm. Capt Mike Thompson will be running this trip. Limited to only 16 anglers at $350. This should be a fun trip.

The Aggressor is running overnight trips for:

Fishing Sunday May 11 (departing Saturday May 10 at 10 pm). Limited to 20 anglers at $150 a person. This is a White Sea Bass and Yellowtail trip. Capt Brian Oldmen is running this trip.

Fishing Tuesday May 13 (departing Monday May 12 at 10pm). Limited to 20 anglers at $150 a person. This is a White Sea Bass and Yellowtail trip. Capt Brian Oldmen is running this trip.

The Ultra is running an open party 1 ?? day trip departing Thursday night (May 8) at 9pm fishing all day Friday (May 9). This trip is limited to 9 anglers @ $345 per person. They will be targeting white sea bass & yellowtail.

The Patriot will be running open party ?? day trips everyday starting this Friday May 9 The Patriot has open party ?? day trips for this Saturday and Sunday (May 10 & May 11) and every day next week. They depart at 7am and return at 5pm. More than likely fishing Catalina Island. There has been very good bonito fishing with more and more larger bonito to 10 pounds (large!), good calico bass fishing on the surface, some barracuda, more and more yellowtail being seen. These larger bonito require good drags with fresh line (20 pound test maybe 15 pound test for the more adventuresome).

The Nautilus is now running our open party ?? day trips. During the weekdays they leave at 9am return at 3pm. For this weekend the Nautilus has a open party morning ?? day departing at 6 am, and a afternoon ?? day trip departing at 12:30 pm for Saturday and Sunday (May 10 & May 11). Fishing for the ?? day trips is getting good with both calico bass and sand bass biting on or near the surface and throughout the water column. Best bet is a ?? ounce slider with anchovy or sardine. Halibut are also biting and when they fish deeper waters good red snapper fishing & rock fishing with red snapper to 10 pounds.
