Hello everyone;

We arrived to our destination around 07:30 hours. We started off trolling, but the Wahoo had lock-jaw. We made a short move to the east, and we picked up our first Wahoo of the trip. It was tough fishing for the speedy fish today, but we did mange to pick off a few.

We made a few drifts for Yellowtail and put a couple on the boat. With good reports from the boats to the north, Roy made the decision to move north. We departed the area around 15:00 hours, but low and behold, we found a floating object. It had Dorado jumping on it, and we went right to work, putting a few Dorado on the boat.

Our weather continues be excellent, with flat seas, clear skies, and sunny. It was a bit warm and humid today. We will arrive to our next destination in the morning, and we will keep you updated on our daily events.

P.S. Would had a short time out to recognized a fallen fisherman. Brent Ikari, was famous for his beautiful custom rods. (Sato Rods). I first met Brent on a trip to Guadalupe island, as he was battling cancer. Brent would lose the battle in January of 2017. Brent son is on this trip fishing and landed his first Wahoo, and the entire crew and passengers said a short prayer and toasted to our friend and fallen fisherman. “Brent Ikari”. You will be missed.
