The West is now flowing at just over 400 cfs and is getting better and better every day, water clarity is good and though it’s still just a little bit high there are plenty of fish to be had up there. Lures to try include panther martins, mepps and rooster tails, baits anglers are using salmon eggs, power eggs and crawlers. Fly anglers are still going mainly with nymphs like prince and pheasant tails but the dry fly fishing should start getting good as the flows come down a bit.
