The West has picked up very nicely with the lower water flows, lots of nice fish being caught up there. Fly anglers are still doing some nymphing as well as some dry/dropper fishing, patterns to try include: prince nymphs, hare’s ear, soft hackle, para hopper, dave’s hopper, madam x and chubby Chernobyl. Bait anglers can go with salmon eggs, night crawlers and power eggs. For lures try rooster tails, panther martins and thomas bouyants.
