Top water bass bite has been very good in the morning and also in the evening. If you want to fish in a quiet lake that will produce good numbers of fish, come to El Capitan on Monday's and Tuesday's, you will have the lake to yourself! The bass is on John Taylor, he caught a nice limit of bass with a total weight of 22.46 lbs. During the day the bass are chasing the fry with the top water action being the most productive. Cat fishing is doing well with a couple of fishermen reporting limits. Bluegill fishermen are still finding some nice schools with several limits being reported.
