Hi RP Followers,

Starting at sunrise, we began hooking fish and it didn’t stop with 3-5 hooked until after 3pm. We had a similar fantastic grade of tuna as yesterday with only a handful under 100lbs. Most of our 59 tuna were between 120 and 171lbs. We had a nice batch of yellowtail to compliment our catch topped off with an after dinner 42lber.

It was nothing less than amazing! We had a trio of personal bests, including a his and hers pair for the Cagles (they are so cute) and a replacement fish (225lber lost yesterday) for Joe Carrillo who successfully landed the trip’s biggest so far at 171lbs.

It is so fun to fish with family and friends except of course when they out fish you, which was the case with me today (both Dad & brother did better than me). The Yamates are ridiculous and should be banned from sportfishing altogether as there is no sport in what they do, they are machines. Evan and Chris had several father/son double hookups and the Cagles got their matched set of personal bests. The Cotters smartly not to be out done, decided to not wear sunscreen together like father like son.

For personal best shout outs… Joe sends his love to Melissa and thinks only of you while he is not fishing. Sherrie and Greg say hi to Andy, you shoulda been here for this. Also, John Yamate sends his best to the Seaforth crew for watching the shop while he and Jeff selfishly spend six days fighting Yellowfin tuna (he feels so bad!).
