http://www.royalpolaris.comHello everyone;
We arrived to Alijos rocks in the early morning hours (05:30). We drifted until sunrise, then went searching for Wahoo. It didn’t take long before we had a couple of logs (very large Wahoo) on the boat. We would pick at the Wahoo most of the day, and end up with a decent catch of Wahoo.
But to our surprise, the Wahoo were out shined by the Dorado. The Dorado were in the 15 to 20 pound range, we would catch our daily limits, then we would start releasing them back to the ocean.
After lunch, Roy would make a few drifts for Grouper, but with the fast drift, it was tough holding bottom. We would land a few Grouper, before we would head back to the rocks.
We picked away at a few more Wahoo, before it was time to leave.
Heading north for the next 36 hours, to our next destination. So wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our upcoming events.
