Hi Gang,

We enjoyed another beautiful morning of nice weather and calm seas. After breakfast, the guys tied on jigs and bombs in preparation for our next fishing stop, Alijos Rocks. We arrived at the Rocks shortly after lunch and after a little looking around, we located our first batch of wahoo. Hook up!!! The troll jig goes off, we picked off 2 more on the Catchy Tackle jigs, 3 wahoo on our first stop. We got underway, slid the next troll team back, and it didn't take long for another strike. Hook up!!! We're on again. It was steady action for about 4 hours this afternoon and the guys had an absolute blast. Most of our fish were caught on either the doubled up straight tie with a bimini twist or a heavy fluorocarbon leader. Raider jigs and Catchy Tackle jigs were the most productive. This wahoo was biting good today and it was a great way to break up our travel time home. The chefs went above and beyond for dinner tonight as they put on our famous seafood buffet. Lobster, king crab, shrimp, oysters, fresh Ahi sashimi, rice, rack of lamb, roast beef, mixed vegetables, and an impressive assortment of desserts. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4088 to get in on the action.
